On Aug. 24, 2015, Life Care Centers of America presented Life Care Center of Attleboro, Massachusetts, with the Facility of the Year Award for its Northeast Division.

The award was given during the company’s annual management meeting at its headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee. It recognizes the facility as the premier location in the division, which includes 25 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Massachusetts, Michigan, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Criteria for this award include excellent customer service, a strong activities department, an active volunteer program and involvement in the community.

Life Care Center of Attleboro, led by Executive Director Patrick O’Connor, was especially praised for achieving a deficiency-free state survey, or health inspection, in 2015. It also recently earned reaccreditation from The Joint Commission.

“This facility has had a tremendous history that reflects many positive achievements,” said Alain Bernard, vice president of Life Care Centers of America’s Walden Region. “The facility is staffed with many high-energy associates who welcome all who visit.”

“We congratulate Patrick and his team of associates who, together, have developed such a strong facility,” said Beecher Hunter, Life Care president. “The residents and rehab patients at Life Care Center of Attleboro are the real winners as they benefit from the works of love performed by the team every day.”
